Happy Halloween
Last Sunday our good friend had a bunch of people over to carve pumpkins. I was a little skeptical because Halloween is probably my least favorite holiday (and I’m oh so happy Heber shares the same feelings). But I figured it would be a fun night with friends, at the very least. Turned out I had A LOT of fun! Thanks Lacey for putting it all together. Here are a few pics of the pumpkins created that night. I’m not very good at taking pics, sorry they are a little blurry…
TIP: go to zombiepumpkins.com for really fun ideas/traces!

Our Pumpkin, an evil Jack Skellington… Mwaaah Hahaha

Go Jazz Go!
A couple of weekends ago Heber’s work offered Jazz tickets to a couple of employees. We thought it would be a fun free date and we would get to hang out with our friends Cory & Kelsey. Turns out these tickets were for the 5th row AND we got to eat at the VIP buffet. So hip.
Thanks APX for the tickets and thanks Cory for thinking to ask us to come with you!!!

Heber’s Birthday
In September we also celebrated Heber’s 32nd birthday!!! I happen to LOVE LOVE LOVE birthday’s and Heber was oh so kind to oblige me and let me make it a big deal. But, turns out I’m not very good at taking pictures…the only picture I have is of our dessert, which I’m pretty proud of and another of Heber. Too bad I couldn’t find green cup cake holders. In case you didn’t know Heber LOVES to golf.
(And in case you can’t tell what they are…they are chocolate cupcakes with peanut butter frosting + a golf tee and golf ball = all things Heber loves)

LOTS of catching up to do…
Out with the old and in with the new!
Seems to be the theme for my life this year! I got a new house (with Heber), I’m starting a new career path and I’m back in school, I got married which means a new last name, so why not get a new car!!!!!
I’m a traditional Honda girl (and I’ve actually only owned Honda’s…3 to be exact) yet somehow my cute husband has talked me into getting a Mazda3. So far so good!!!!
There is something about new cars that are pretty fun, thanks Hebie!

I’m not sure how many of you know, but Heber has quite the nack when it comes to creativity (which is why he is so great at his job, and loves it too…I know, I’m a little biased).
BUT Heber and two of his brothers have started a photography blog where each day one brother posts a new pic and then they give each other critiques. The original goal was to do this everyday for an entire year (currently they are at day 84)!
Let me just tell you… it’s paying off!!! According to PhotoBlogs.org the Eastman Photog Blog is taking the number one spot!!! Wooohooo!!! You can check it out for yourself at www.photoblogs.org.
Congrats fellas! I think you are fantastic, keep up the good work!!!

Heber finally got his well deserved Banana Cream Pie!!! I suppose many of you are wondering what is so special about a banana cream pie. Well let me explain. Way back in the post high school days, my best friend Karen and I would give each other challenges. These challenges would be not only to date a certain boy, but to kiss them as well, or rather have them kiss us! (Please withhold all the slut jokes… ) The reward would grant a banana cream pie, which happens to be Karen’s favorite treat!
Way back when, when Heber and I were “just friends”, Karen and I decided Heber needed a little more motivation to start asking girls out and taking them on dates! So we initiated the banana cream pie challenge. Oddly enough it really started to work!!! Heber was getting crushes AND taking girls on dates! F-A-B-U-L-O-U-S! Now don’t get the wrong impression about Heber; there were plenty of girls crushing on him. He was just stuck in the “hang out” phase so many boys seem to get into. All he needed was a little push
Little did I know he had made his own challenge so to speak. I was NOT one of the designated girls who would earn him a pie, at least not initially, but somewhere in the back of his mind he had his eye on the prize.
Who knew a pie would lead to happily ever after…I couldn’t be happier it did!

Well deserved...
Mmm Mmm Good!
This was a first for me. On a whim I decided to make my very first, fresh strawberry pie!!! Turns out it was really yummy. There are a couple of tweeks I need to remember for the next time, like refrigerate for longer so it’s not as runny. (Yes! There will be LOTS of next times…) With some practice we’ll make perfect! Thanks Hebe and Mom Eastman for being such great guinea pigs!!! XOXO

Derby Time!!!
Demolition Derby’s are one of my most favorite times of summer! I know I’m a little late posting these pics, but they are worth the wait!!! This year might take the cake for the most and best WT outfits! Thanks everyone for coming!!!

Classic Talitha in the background!

Girls Rule!

Yes, these are our friends! (and the one on the right is still single...ladies, he won't last long!)

Cowgirl Up!

Check out that sunset in the background!!! Love summer nights!

WT at it's finest!

Carley & Karen BF's forever!!!
Beeeeeees!!!

1st Bees game of the season

2nd Bees game + Fireworks = A good time
So the weather is getting warmer (besides the last two weeks) and that means I like to be outside and Hebe likes to watch baseball!!! We made it to our first Bees game for the season, celebrated Dad Eastman’s birthday and supported Breast Cancer Awareness all on the same night! Love those baseball players in PINK! And to top off the evening Hebe got a foul ball, after it bounced off my ribcage…took one for the team! Thanks Dad Eastman for having a birthday to celebrate!
The second game was a little less eventful. However the company and the fireworks (one of my most FAVORITE things in the whole wide world) were fantastic!!! Thanks Greg and Hanks family for coming with us!
Bonus Round: anyone notice anything different about Hebe?

The government decided to help us buy a house. So we did it. Well… it’s a townhouse, and we haven’t quite closed on it yet. But the builder is finishing it as fast as his little workers can finish. We’ll give you a weekly update on it’s progress. Here’s the first one. This is the outside:

And the inside all looks the same.. so we just have one pic: the master bedroom.

We’re scheduled to move in sometime mid to late June. Hopefully they will finish it sooner than later.
